About

Trish Rohr is a passionate, experienced education and curriculum leader with over 25 years of experience.

Her unique combination of classroom teaching, along with

an in-depth knowledge of student learning and development,
drives her professional work as well as her writing.

Trish finds great joy working with students as they discover their unique self-identity & voice in the world. Connecting with every student is her highest goal in every professional endeavor and is at the heart of her work in education.

Trish is currently serving in the role of
Remote Learning Coordinator for Charlotte Country Day School.   As a faculty member at the middle school for 13 years and the parent to two “lifers” who are now in college, returning to help families navigate an unprecedented time in education is exciting and challenging all at once.
After leaving the science classroom Trish spent several years supporting middle and upper school students develop and strengthen executive functioning skills.  She also launched a nonprofit to support children facing extended illness in their journey to become lifelong learners. She has also spent time at the Harvard Graduate School of Education focusing on the neuroscience of learning and cognitive processes and development.

In her spare time Trish loves to write and read, cheer on the Ole Miss Rebels, stitch needlepoint, and practice yoga.
